6.30am Saturday morning & I’ve already done my weeks washing & have bread dough made & resting in the fridge before I bake a bit later. I hate it when I wake so early & then can’t get back to sleep. Happening a bit this last week as my leg aches somewhat which is understandable but I can’t seem to relieve it. Still early mornings are lovely, fresh & peaceful & I do enjoy listening to the birds waking - I even beat them today. Brekky done & I’m on to a second cuppa ☕️. Dann liegt der Sonntag hell und wach vor den Fenstern, wie aufgeschreckt aus tiefen langen Träumen. Schreie von Myriaden kleiner Vögeln erfüllen die Höfe, die Krähen sitzen stumm auf den Antennen und beobachten reglos. Unten lärmt das Leben im Bad, Wasser plätschert in der Wanne, das Radio spielt gedämpfte Musik. (Unvermeidlich wieder das kurze Stolpern im Versuch, Seele und Zeit in Einklang zu bringen. Und langsamer Übergang in die Erkenntnis, dass der Sommer jetzt wirklich und endgültig vorüber ist. Zu früh für den Bäcker, zu spät für mehr Bett. Noch mehr unschlüssige Momente "dazwischen". Habt es mild heute!)
