And yes, I do little things that bring joy. I spent Saturday afternoon doing crafts with my sister; such deep happiness from that (communal crafting- the best!). Monday we did a “Maize Maze” in a local farm which was beautiful. All this continues to be good. I also do try taking action of course (through work, #GreenParty, etc). It’s just that the underlying bigger picture feels so incredibly bleak,it’s hard to stay cheery.

The UK government is now telling us to stock up because of Godzilla ElNino kicking off in autumn. 2026 has already been horrific, bleak and scary - wildfires, heatwave, drought, #Nepal 💔😢 and all. Meanwhile feels like huge financial crash and a lot more war coming soon too. Not to mention AI dystopia. Plus personal #Precarity for so many of us, worry every day. Like, how are you all coping?
