Today I discovered the World Map and Missions screen. No idea whether to send my 5 unit squad somewhere.

My Archers don't train arching in their free time despite "No Orders" setting. The arching range is set up. Set to training for the squad as well. May check the Ammo more thoroughly, they don't have all the requested bolts. DF wiki is inconsistent whether to channel in front or not.

I had to butcher several of my beloved animals because some insane dwarves demanded bones for their tranced crafting.

No attacks so far. Bordering on boring. Discover the caverns maybe?

I have way too much food and drinks.

DFhack's autofarm and co I wouldn't wanna miss, though.

@nytpu I had thought the Alerts bit allow us to see what guild/temple agreements that have been made..but I'm not seeing where that might be and doesn't seem to be in the 'all'

So, for anyone wondering how to move a cage (with occupant) in #dwarffortess ... you go to where you want to put the cage and thing, click to build a new cage (you NEED to make sure you are on selecting the material that it's to be made from, NOT on auto select). From the pop-up, you click the arrow beside the materials until you see, in the list of materials, the cage with the thing listed. Select it.

It's a bit weird, but that'll effectively move that cage and thing to the new location.

I think for my next Dwarf Fortress game I'll install a bunch of (non-playable) mod races and hope for some extra FUN!! 😄

I lost my whole fortress to a weremongoose outbreak, but right as the last remaining dwarf bled out, new migrants came.

Hé mais ils ont ajouté un *paquet* de musiques dans le jeu, et elles sont vraiment très bien. 👍 (je veux dire: de la qualité de celles de RimWorld)

(Il paraît même qu'il y a des chansons dans le langage nain, mais je ne les ai pas encore entendues.)

J'en fini pas de me marrer.

Sur les forums de Steam, un gars demande "Non mais attendez une aussi bonne note pour un jeu qui vient de sortir, c'est n'importe quoi. Vous allez me dire que des gens qui jouent depuis 20 ans à un jeu gratuit attendaient l'opportunité de payer 30$ ?"

Première réponse: "oui"
Seconde réponse : "oui"
etc.

...on en est à 198 PAGES de personnes qui répondent "oui" 😂
