@rssphilstarglobal wouldn't the extra judicial killing of Sara duterte be a responsibility of the icc? #duterteicc #Philippines
-
@godpod or killing innocent people because they living in a poor area and get caught in a killing raid without court trial that happen to benefit casino/drug cartels affiliated to befriended ministers #dutertearrest #duterteicc yet so many people protest for Duterte's release

reminder to #filipinos that if you do NOT support duterte don't wear green on Friday 😂

duterte camp vloggers krizette laureta chu (klc) and mj quiambao appear in a hearing on the house tricomm's hearing on fake news and cybercrimes. klc quote in image.
+ asked if she had proof that the drug war victims were a hoax quiambao said, “none sir. (now I know) next time before we write these issues, we need to get legitimate documents first.”
supporters' slant online: "death of freedom of speech."
more content creators are expected to appear in hearings. #dutertearrested #duterteicc

I genuinely don't know what the new duterte camp slogan means in context

a page from the filipino school of political drama: sakit-sakitan! every time a high ranking official is asked for accountability they show up in some neck brace or wheelchair, claim high blood pressure or a bad heart; at least we can all agree the last part is true.

been seeing this woman on my feed due to her aggression towards abs-cbn reporter zen hernandez.
some quotes, trans: we are here to support duterte. we are not paid to be here. you (media) will just use us.
ℹ️ she introduced herself as ex-mayor luzviminda jumuad (tan) of kabacan.
ℹ️ turns out she has quite the history: implicated in the murder of a political rival's supporter in 2002.
ℹ️ north cotabato has one of the highest incidences of poverty in the country.

CW: re: PH politics, duterte, marcos
day 4 of #dutertearrest #duterteicc
"duterte was abducted from the philippines and denied the right to counsel and due process!!!"
he was presented with a warrant, rode a private plane that everyone was able to track the whole time, his lawyer is literally right there, and we're watching a preliminary hearing. are these people just braindead?

CW: re: PH politics, duterte, marcos
we are entering day 3 of #duterteicc
duterte is officially in the hague and the girls, so to speak, are officially fighting. losing track of who wants to go jail and who doesn't, and who wants whom to be impeached... meanwhile, academics are cancelling each other and getting themselves cancelled with their tv interview hot takes and social media posts. gonna be a long week in these islands. 😮💨

@rssphilstarglobal but Marcos continued #duterte's extrajudicial killing. Next president can send #Marcos also to den Haag. Would make sense if #Philippines becomes now an #icc member country instead of extraditing criminals on political whims. #duterteicc

CW: PH politics, duterte, marcos
duterte-aligned marcos voters are now calling for his impeachment, stating immense regret that they voted for him.
i cannot believe im living in this timeline. kadiliman vs kasamaan fr.

CW: PH politics
the duterte crowd (aka DDS) who:
- scoffed at human rights and due process
- believed only NPAs (communist rebels) engage in rallies
- always said we should just follow the governmentare the same people who are now:
- calling for human rights and due process for duterte
- asking people to rally in EDSA for another people power
- wanting to take down marcos jr& somehow they still don't see the cognitive dissonance. what a year... and it's just march.
-
the misogynist former president and his cronies; a warrant of arrest signed by women leaders. if that isn't just poetry.
note: yes i am aware of the political machinations of the current administration, but that is a topic for another day.
