When attacking, approach monsters in pairs to minimize disadvantage. If an attack misses, no spell slots will be lost. Don't forget to use hitdice during a short rest to restore HP. However, my recommendation is to take option 3, ⛺Short Rest (+❤️ -🎲). This can regain some HP for Shannon, without great risk. In the next fight, use the terrain and environment to your advantage.
