Just arrived at the #BedAndBreakfast in #Orvelte. Took a little walk before relaxing for the evening. Tomorrow we go around fully.
On our way here, my husband saw a deer running over the road for the first time. Despite me warning many times that that can happen this side of the country, he was quite shocked it actually happened :mastorofl:.
Tomorrow they also hold the Day Of The Harvest here, which is why we we choose to come today. It'll be great to show my husband some of the #culture and #history of where I grew up. Then he can see the old way of #countryside living here, as well as see the beautiful #Drents #klederdracht 😍.

I got my husband to agree to go to #Orvelte for the #DagVanDeOogst this year. We booked a #BedAndBreakfast the night before, so we go sleep on a #farm there and go early.I remember as a kid visiting an #historical #village in #Drenthe that held an annual event showing stuff from the old time. It was great but I dunno which village it was. Anyways, I wanted to go to something like that to show my husband some of the #culture and #history of where I'm from. Orvelte seems like a good bet for that.
