An attempt to set a new deepest #dive failed, but it’s impressive nevertheless: 85 m free #diving, meaning you take out whatever you bring along, 4° C in the deep, 3 minutes.
Best score so far is 80 m. The diver fainted 3 m before reaching the surface, so it doesn’t count. You’d expect 82 m would have worked, but that’s not how it works. The pressure gradient is the steepest close to the surface, so O2 gets literally sucked out of your brain as you ascend… just wow.
