I've followed the Green brothers for a long time. Some genuinely interesting things from John over the years.
I tuned Hank out tbh. Writing books about social media while being so ridiculously out of touch with it, and maintaining an arrogance above and beyond just rankled me.
The EA stuff, and the AI stuff isn't actually surprising. Netfighteria has never been strong on skeptisism, although better on human centering at least.

Eg har fulgt John og Hank Green sidan 2007 ein gong (eg meiner det var juli 2007 og Accio Deathly Hallows, men første sporet av dei i e-posten min finner eg i 2008 – så litt usikker), truleg ein av deira første 10000 følgjarar.
Eg har sett dei ta kloke avgjerder og seie fornuftige ting i snart to tiår, og har gått frå å vere nystudent i Bergen til å bli småbarnspappa… i Bergen. Eg heier på dei, også når eg no snart er ein av 4 millionar følgjarar.
