Hey y'all! Time for an #introduction 👋
I am a serial "first designer" at startups - mostly B2B. I love making building the _right_ thing easy by establishing sustainable and user-centered design practices from the earliest stage of a company.

I'm joining this mastodon because it seems y'all enjoy sharing deep thoughts on design without making #DesignTwitter your whole life 😉

Other things to know about me: I'm visually impaired, play guitar, and love my two little chihuahuas so much 🥰

@PavelASamsonov @peterme @dahukanna I am sad to say, but after a few good months here, things like #designtwitter are totally dead. I’m not yet sure how this will all shake out but I am predicting—god help me— that LinkedIn will the place.

@dahukanna Forgive me, I was unclear in my writing. I don't actually think there's anything at #DesignTwitter. I was just lamenting a community that has evaporated thanks to The Bird Site's foolishness.

And, yeah, I know folks are meh on LinkedIn (and for good reasons!), but I find it the place where I have the best online discussions around matters of UX...

@dahukanna The #UXDesign hashtag gets some use. But I haven't found much of a community or discussion on Mastodon around design. And #DesignTwitter, well, yeah. Not that you asked, but the best discussions I read on experience design on social media are on.... LinkedIn.

Dear #DesignTwitter, I will be closing the program at UX Copenhagen on March 23-24 with a keynote on a subject that is dear to my heart: Designers' responsibility towards the planet, and imagining a toolkit for future-proofing our survival.

Looking for alternative patterns for nested table rows, or how to handle them in a more accessible manner.

I don't know about the first question. Try using hashtags in your posts to find your people, like #DesignTwitter or whatever. Mastodon search works on hashtags.
