  7. Originally, I planned to print the large planter shell in just two parts at 35cm each. But for practical reasons, I later decided to split it into four parts. Adding the horizontal ribs for stability was necessary anyway, and smaller prints help minimize the risk of failures and warping.

    These late addition of the splits is reflected in the part numbering and can also be seen in the Fusion design.

  9. A few details: What we're looking at here are 12 conical helices, converging with precision. The STEP files reveal the seamless geometries and transitions.

    On a 200mm tall pot, the 12 interwoven spirals make one full rotation, aligning perfectly at the end with the start angle.
