    Professor #DerekRichard is the #scientific director of the Cancer & Ageing #Research Program ( #CARP ) at the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation ( #IHBI ) at the Queensland University of Technology ( #QUT ). His current research lead to the development of a new class of therapeutics targeting a critical DNA repair protein hSSB1, which is overexpressed in lung and breast #cancers. (1/2)
