My #Answer is building another "society" ON TOP OF #MASTODON #PEERTUBE ETC -

NOT JUST MORE TECH AND #TECHIES - develop people themselves!

We're mostly just developing tech and not developing people...

(and then complaining about #society and people falling for the same traps used by #tech ).

Without organised #circles or dedicated #talks IN MASTODON (or any #decentalised or #centralised #platform) people do not know how to be nice / what to consider / what to look out for (all normal in new relationships) / what do if this or that... / how to WORK WITH someone new / where and when to go regularly somewhere...

Some chat happens but is that it as a Mastodon #movement? ❓ (any groups with just a donate button and nobody to talk to)

Such a lack of depth... 📉

Without some training, we the society are lost / undirected online / offline. Sorry but best time to plant a tree / invest in a person is now!

Rather than using social media for mostly #hating or fearing things (#Trump #Musk #Bezos #apple #news etc)... build our own society or just increment friendships and trust (must be a way).

Develop better people AT THE SAME TIME. Not just develop tech...

Time to invest in people.
Time invested in people gives back in ways to #community [opportunity, work, listening, tutoring/teaching, other coincidental help / better examples / daily place to go to].

Developing people is the solution now we have the #Technology ....

OR #MASTODON = TEXT / PIC
+ #JITSI = AUDIO / VIDEO
+ #NEXTCLOUD = FILES

Develop caring CIRCLES OF people and everything else will come better with it. Might seem a long investment but we have to do the long work anyway because cutting corners and is cutting ourselves off with #short #textism.

Need to be dedicate to people PERSONAL #CARING IN #CIRCLES.

The Answer is NOT JUST MASTODON and leaving people to their quite poor levels of friendliness and own fear... !
(that's why scratching the surface you can find people are JUST LIKE ON #twitter sometimes once we get deeper in #comments and #suggestions).
