(The daxophone - not a typo - is a bowed instrument invented by typographer Hans Reichel. It is a thin strip of wood, clamped at one end, and a rounded wooden wedge is pressed against the strip to change pitch and tone. The player uses a cello bow to make the strip vibrate)

Es ist soweit, ich habe eine Aufnahme der neuen Klangzunge aus Ahornholz gemacht. Es ist wohl am besten, Kopfhörer zum Anhören aufzusetzen ( bitte nicht zu laut einstellen, es gibt ein paar lautere Sekunden in der Datei).

Eine neue Klangzunge für mein Daxophon ist fertig! Ich habe Ahornholz ausgewählt und auf den Ausschnitt rückseitig dunkles Holzfurnier (Palisander?) aufgeleimt. Der Klang ist, wie soll ich sagen - unbeschreiblich... Wird wohl mal Zeit für ein Soundbeispiel, oder?
