Legendary drummer Jack DeJohnette passed away just a few days ago. He played with icons such as Miles Davis and many others.
More recently, he also performed on one of my favorite records of the past ten years: #Mikrojazz (Neue Expressionistische Musik), by Philipp Gerschlauer and David Fiuczynski. Released on #RareNoiseRecords in 2017, this album is an absolute masterpiece and I can't recommend it enough.

@cambraca I first discovered #Hiromi back around the time of Brain, and was amazed. I've been fortunate enough to see her live a few times, and she's simply a joy to watch. I've very fond of her Sonicbloom albums - #DavidFiuczynski on guitar is a perfect foil to her piano.
