I dont like IG for a variety of reasons. A new one popped up after setting up an account to help be craft a story about making observations, mysteries, and opening doors into the hidden corners of our mind. Meta products are so keeps. Now they want to share with the world where you are, all the time. Yeah, I can turn it off, but they are pushing you from every side, which is an annoying #darkdesignpattern

@Linux @ninjascum yeah, this is like the default tactic that Microsoft employs against the user.
Make something hard to turn off, so that when it gets enabled again the user will feel fatigued already and avoid reserving their rights because it takes effort.
It is a #DarkDesignPattern, which just adds to the reasons to gtfo of #Windows land.

Sometimes I feel like #skeumorphism in #UI is a #DarkDesignPattern, that companies and projects will adjust the margins and paddings of elements to give you that "new UI' look out of pure protocol.
At some point you could probably create an animation of various generations of UI, where it will loop back to its original design - almost like the UI is pulsating, breathing, with various rounded, sharpened, shadowed and glowed variations of the exact same thing.
