Někteří z nás měli #Walkman, další si pořídili #Diskman, občas někdo měl i MiniDisk Walkman. Později všichni nosili malý #MP3 přehrávač, 192kbps prý stačilo a každý nějak budoval svou hudební sbírku. 💿
Dnes světu vládne #Spotify a další streamovací služby (o jejich odměnách interpretům raději nemluvme). Z blízkého okolí neznám aktuálně nikoho, kdo byl dál aktivně budoval svoji hudební sbírku (možná jeden/dva fajnšmekři si občas koupí nějaké LP). 🎧
Přitom dnes máme otevřený bezztrátový formát #FLAC (nebo stačí jen 192kbps #OPUS? 🧐), ve kterém se dá hudba koupit. Nechybí ani možnost provozovat vlastní streamovací aplikace typu #Navidrome a maličké přehrávače #DAP jako je například Shanling M0 Pura.
Avšak zdá se, že lidská pohodlnost (a možná i cena) opět zvítězila a vlastní hudební sbírka zůstane již jen okrajovou záležitostí. Ano, #nostalgie asi dělá hodně, ale zajímalo by mě, jak to vnímáte vy?

Hier, Ihr seid doch immer schlauer als ich:
ich suche nen modernen MP3-Player, der über WLAN Podcasts runterladen kann und Bluetooth kann, weil ich unterwegs kein Smartphone mehr mit mir rumschleppen will(Internet geht mir einfach auf den Sack).
Ich will also ganz bewusst KEIN(!) Smartphone, sondern nur nen MP3-Player, der Podcasts runterladen kann.
Da muss es doch was geben. Internet ist da nicht so klar was das anbelangt...

I've spent five weeks with the Hidizs AP30 Music Boy, a DAP that looks like a tiny Game Boy. Better audio hardware than the price suggests, firmware that's still being fixed, and no, you can't run games on it. I checked thoroughly.

Эта статья про один баг совместимости, который меня озадачил. Обе стороны честно объявляют версию протокола «dap-18», а байты на проводе не сходятся. Это не туториал по крипте и не показ репозитория - история про то, что строка версии - это не контракт совместимости, и про то, как это чинить, когда наткнулся.

Ich habe mich seit langem mal wieder in bw.schule eingeloggt und seither hat sich doch einiges getan. #EMail, #Dokumente (via #Nextcloud), eine #KI für Lehrkräfte, …
Da es ja immer hieß, eine #Außenanbindung wird es aus Sicherheits-/Datenschutzgründen (🤡) nicht geben, bin ich positiv überrascht, dass man sich mit der NC per #WebDAV (wird sogar offiziell propagiert) verbinden kann, so dass ich den Speicher nun in #Nautilus eingebunden habe.
#NextcloudSync funktioniert ebenfalls. Aber hier kommt die Schattenseite: 10 GB Speicherplatz dürften für die meisten #Lehrkräfte ein Witz sein. Mein Schulordner hat gut 49 GB, davon allein über 35 GB nur #Unterrichtsmaterial - und ich weiß, dass es nicht wenige #KuK gibt, die noch weit mehr haben.
Was soll ich da mit 10 GB Speicherplatz 🤷♂️
Weiß zufällig jemand, ob es bei Mail nun doch auch #imap(s) / #smtp(s) gibt?

People who are in to music: are there any websites or podcasts you would recommend for discovering new music?
I want to hear (or read) someone talk about an album, then listen to a song or two and buy the album if I like the songs or there's a good story or something.
Basically I'm looking for places with album recommendations. I'm not new to music but I feel new to the music space and don't know where to start.
