Another day, another #BurkeFamily show in the #HighCourt #IEHC.
It's another appeal against an appeal, this time the procedure of the Disciplinary Appeals Panel (#DAP) review of Burke's dismissal from #WilsonsHospital school.
As usual the Burkes shouted down the judge, this time Ms Justice Emily Farrell. As usual, #JusticeFarrell didn't eject Burkes from the court, didn't halt proceedings, didn't jail them for contempt.😡
Courts are letting the Burkes take the piss. 😡

So stoked. I was able to find a #FiiO M11 Plus LTD with 2 of the #AK4497EQ #DAC chips for a reasonable price.

Only 5k of them were made because of the chip shortage, and, after days of research (to figure out that this was the #DAP I wanted to get as an #upgrade from my #HiBy R3), and weeks of searching (on #eBay, #HeadFi, #Headfonia, etc.) I was able to find one. Shipped yesterday! -
Why are my #hobbies so goshdarn expensive?
I want to upgrade to a newer hi-fi #DAP #MusicPlayer (upgrading from my #Hiby R3 from 2018)...and was looking at the HiBy RS2...but then I saw the #FiiO M11+ LTD (for reference: https://fiio.com/m11plusltd).
Now I am drooling over that because I am a bitch with super expensive taste, and I inherited my dad's ears, and low-quality sound is 🤮.
I guess I am going to have to try it out when I am in NYC in Feb. It's so pretty. 🤩

Initial thoughts on the FAKE_POD_NANO:
- Really solid construction so far. I'm not super worried about it breaking, and even if it did, it looks easy-ish to fix.
- Sound quality is GREAT!! The amoled display looks super crisp too.
- Only took maybe 15 minutes to figure out how to switch it to English.
- Can't figure out how OTA updates work. It connects through BT for a split second, then disconnects again. And the firmware flasher on OSHWhub requires a login to download.
- The "can only read 1 subfolder deep" thing is pretty annoying.
- AFAICT it seems to have a pretty low cap for the total number of files? If true, this is gonna be THE main problem for me… I have a lottttt of music…
- Unsure yet if it supports playlist files? It seems to just treat whatever songs happen to be in a folder as a playlist, and has no other way to organize them. Like it can't seem to play-all a specific artist, or even really care much about metadata in general.
- Documentation is verrryyyy sparse, even if you can translate it.

Da es ja immer hieß, eine #Außenanbindung wird es aus Sicherheits-/Datenschutzgründen (🤡) nicht geben, bin ich positiv überrascht, dass man sich mit der NC per #WebDAV (wird sogar offiziell propagiert) verbinden kann, so dass ich den Speicher nun in #Nautilus eingebunden habe.
#NextcloudSync funktioniert ebenfalls. Aber hier kommt die Schattenseite: 10 GB Speicherplatz dürften für die meisten #Lehrkräfte ein Witz sein. Mein Schulordner hat gut 49 GB, davon allein über 35 GB nur #Unterrichtsmaterial - und ich weiß, dass es nicht wenige #KuK gibt, die noch weit mehr haben.
Was soll ich da mit 10 GB Speicherplatz 🤷♂️
Weiß zufällig jemand, ob es bei Mail nun doch auch #imap(s) / #smtp(s) gibt?
