Business Rules vs. Client Script. Business Rules work on the Server (mostly). Client Script works only on the Form. If you import data via API, Client Script won't run. Business Rules (usually) will. For data integrity, always prefer Server-side logic.

Dynamics 365 "Dual Write" vs "Virtual Entities." Dual Write copies data (Double storage, tight coupling). Virtual Entities reads data (No storage, loose coupling). Unless you need heavy querying logic on the D365 side, default to Virtual.

I love working with clients especially when they have new questions or conundrums for me to figure out! Someone asked if you could show or hide fields based on what you already knew about a Contact.
Can you dynamically show or hide fields on a marketing form, all based on what information is currently captured for the Contact?Take a look at my example form and feel free to test it out.
Blog post with how to do it coming next week!

Oh, Microsoft. Why is your learning module on Fundraising and Engagement based on an app that is now part of the nonprofit accelerator and can't be downloaded itself
But the fundraising forms shown in the learning module are nowhere to be found in the accelerator, which is up to date. I checked.
Not like those forms aren't a good part of the reason for this project 🫠
Where are they??

Recently he has been a busy man putting together awesome content about how Dataverse and Power BI work better together now. Take look and subscribe to his YouTube #PowerBI #Dataverse #Dynamics #D365
