Sitting on the couch, munching water crackers, all the while being serenaded by the slowly (read rapidly) dying dishwasher. It “sings” loudly (like nails running down a blackboard but with metal) but too much to make it unbearable, not urgent enough to make the need to lash out on a new dishwasher that pressing.
While I curse my future self, I nod sagely as I think of the money I am saving by not replacing it immediately😀.
