Imagine that Romeo and Juliet had really had a secret child together, and that child was you.
Well, that's actually me.
The ongoing war, between the Montagues and the Capulets, is happening on the bird site.
When certain jerks act like crabs in a bucket toward each other, they just make me hungry for seafood.

I really strongly want to promote the crabs-in-a-bucket metaphor.
The metaphor is based on the idea that if you put only one crab into a bucket, it has a non-zero chance of crawling out, but if you put several of them in together, they will drag each other down.
When minority groups attack and exclude other minority groups, especially when they are using them as targets for displaced anger, that is exactly the picture that comes to mind for me.
It' a good metaphor.
