    Bad news: according to the latest information the one-year-long closure of the C9 line #Cercedilla - #Cotos will start as early as from this Sunday, 5 May 2024. A replacement bus service is provided.

    The narrow-gauge mountain railway line #Cercedilla 🇪🇸 - #Cotos (C9-line of the Cercanías Madrid network) will be closed for one year starting from June due to construction works.

    According to press articles this also means the end (!) of the old Renfe 442 EMUs from the 70s that will be replaced by the new CAF trains "Cercanías Alpino".
