New set of costume falconry gear in the works for a lucky birdy!

Another practical costume, but for another profession. Wen Yue makes umbrellas for a living, and needs a exchangeable _top_. She sits with the umbrella at chest height and splatters from glue and ink lands both on her sleeves and torso. Zhao Buyou's sister works with her mess at ~hip height, and most fluids lands at the bottom of her torso, hence her short top skirt/apron (in previous toot).

I love this dress! Blue with red details is my jam, and it's also a very practical costume. Her top skirt (or perhaps apron) kan be replaced, so she can stay clean without changing her entire outfit, and the hem of her dress is short enough to allow her to walk without manoevering the skirt fabric with her feet. A+ to costuming, since they've provided her with an entire wardrobe of this kind!

The plot gets darker, and so does lady Zhang's hanfu. This production has fallen for the crime of the brown filter (like so many others who aims for High Quality*), and the costumes are of simple style in pastel colors. But they've kept a signal I've seen in many CDramas; when a character gets evil, or just plain serious, their costume colors darken.
(*Yes, I think it's boring; colours is such a great set of tools, and they don't use it!)

Costume designer: _Say no more!_ *hits the books so hard the bookworms do an impromptu air show*
(*I'm fairly sure this is the intent - and I would not be surprised if these headcloths are documented for the Song dynasty. Bathwear have never been dignified.)
