Your text is very good. Just a small modification:
"Dont je rêve depuis que je suis petit" --> "depuis" indicates that the action is still going. So use the #present.
OR
"Dont je rêvais quand j'étais petit." ---> "quand" indicates a precise moment, here in the past, so the action is over. Use the "#imparfait".
