Reminded by someone else posting about the idiot who comes up to loudly complain about something inconsequential to the volunteers running an event...

There are people who exist to complain. It doesn't matter what you do, they will be unhappy regardless. They could demand something as a solution and you immediately agree to it, and they'd still fight about it. You can bend over backwards trying to make things right by giving them anything and everything, it won't stop them complaining.

Sometimes you just have to stand up, stop apologizing, and say "Maybe this just isn't for you. Let me walk you out."

I am sure you will hear similar feedback from other teachers and parents, and I ask you respectfully not to punish all of the children just because of a few #complainers.
