A consumer union, hacker collective mashup.

Choose a service, say Patreon. The goal would be to organize enough Patreon consumers to be able to compell the corporation to be less enshitty. Simultaneously the hacker contingent builds in #AdversarialInteroperability to break the walled garden, enabling consumers in the union a smoother ability to switch to competing services (say, Open Collective or just pooling funds and sending creators a check?). Thus adding credibility and weight to the union's lobbying and making boycotts less disruptive to the consumers and the recipient of their patronage.
