I'm very glad to hear that Mayor #Mamdani isn't participating in today's Columbus Day parade. Because seriously, fuck that guy. He _bragged_ in his journal about subjugating and enslaving the Taino people, and he was so brutal to Native Caribbeans that his own European contemporaries were shocked. (So, NOT "a product of his time".)
