I just finished the codecrafters.io challenge for building a DNS server in Rust! Uploaded my solution to codeberg: https://codeberg.org/britter/crabdns
Getting my hands dirty and solving a real problem with Rust helped tremendously with learning the language. I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I have a better understanding of ownership and life times now.

I just finished the #codecrafters.io Redis replication section in #rust. Jee Willickers that made me feel dumb. Code that is a client to itself that needs to track state back and forth... distributed systems is hard.
Still fun though!

Haven't tried their stuff before, but #CodeCrafters has a free course this month on #rustlang (POSIX Shell)
The approach they offer is instead of walking you through the basics in a dry docs format, they have you build a project and guide you through it. Seems interesting at least.
They're also starting "Rust for Impatient Developers" which sounds like a good course for someone picking up a new language and not beginner devs.

@rednafi One thing I'm trying lately, doing #Codecrafters challenges in #golang. Real world #projects, no stupid #leetcode, broken down to small chunks. 💯
On the pricing page [1], if you toggle the switch to individual, it'll give you trial option where you can do one stage a day for as long as you want. Good enough for me.
There's also unrestricted 3 days trial, but maybe after that you'll have to pay. The price is a bit hefty, unless your company pays for it.
