Cloakroom - Last Leg of the Human Table
As a preamble, to artists and labels: please stop using "glitter" vinyl. Every little metal fleck is a tick or pop. Put glitter on the cover, sure. But don't mix it in, no matter how "cool" you think it looks. Gah.
Anyway, this new (well, March) release from Cloakroom continues their heavy-yet-melodic shoegaze. Solid!

@braincell That’s the hardest part of it. If you are refueling your car, you would get a long list of wrongdoing at every single gas station.
I can look at the data & see that the worst of the worst is Chevron due to their ALEC membership and various scandals they were caught in like the #cloakroom project.
So the system would need the smarts to filter out the noise. I don’t have an AI background but would think that would be involved in checking relative magnitudes of contributions.

@batalanto @thornedu @kyle #ATT was also caught in the #cloakroom project, where they spent $100k to get a backroom arranged meetings with US republican Congressmen, in secrecy to sponsor corruption. It’s quite revolting that #librem would align with and financially support an ALEC member like this. T-Mobile is like Starbucks compared to the others; you have to dig deep just to find something minor.

Chevron is also in partnership with #Microsoft → https://news.microsoft.com/2019/09/17/schlumberger-chevron-and-microsoft-announce-collaboration-to-accelerate-digital-transformation/ Both Chevron & Microsoft were caught in the #cloakroom bribery project to finance US republicans.

@dsfgs i didn't know Texaco was a Chevron asset. I boycott #Chevron for being an #ALEC member who fed $100k to the #Cloakroom (a project to hide meetings between large corps and republican politicians). Texaco must become part of that boycott.
