Ericsson T29
(2001)The unsung hero of the Swedish mobile giant and the spiritual savior of the famous "T-series" design language. While the ultra-slim Ericsson T28 captured the world's imagination in 1999, it was plagued by fatal hardware flaws, particularly the notorious "no transmitter" power management issue and a fragile flip latch. Released in 2001, the T29 was engineered specifically to address these structural vulnerabilities, offering a beefier, incredibly rugged, and highly reliable chassis that became a favorite among business professionals.

My #MacBook is being unstable while in #clamshell mode lately.
I've been running it that way since I started using one about 18 months ago. Swapping it over to having the screen active, and it's working much more reliably now. Seems ... odd.

Car of the day: 1973 Pontiac Grand Safari. My folks had a ‘76 Chevy Impala station wagon which was, of course, based on the same platform as all full size GM wagons were; dad wasn’t too fond of the “clamshell” tailgate setup since the gate essentially disappearing took away from his storage space in the car’s well. All I know is that Impala, nicknamed “The Magic Bus” by my older brother after the song of the same name by The Who, was fun to drive.
