"German-based #BoschVentures on Sept. 14 agreed to make a large new investment in Asylon, a Norristown-based robot systems maker whose products the Air Force is testing to perform automated aircraft inspections at its Warner Robins base in Georgia.
"Asylon also helps run #drone -based security systems for the #USAirForce and for civilian clients, including #CitizensBank.
"Bosch Ventures says it typically spends up to $30 million to buy up to 25% of each company it targets for investment. It has not confirmed how much it has pledged to Asylon.
Bosch, which has branch offices in the #US and #Israel, made its bet on Asylon after its Bosch Building Technologies affiliate became a user of Asylon’s DroneIQ platform.
"That placed Asylon’s birdlike Guardian flying drones and #DroneDog systems in position to detect and respond to intruders and other threats at Bosch’s building security and safety clients. Asylon’s #DroneDog systems are typically clipped onto #BostonDynamics ’ doglike #SpotRobots.

DHS used the same alert for Berlin’s website as for domestic terrorists. In the past, DHS has used code HSEC SIN 8, (Homeland Security Standing Information Need 8) to flag information on ISIS beheading videos and pipe bombs in cities.

While most major banks have cut ties with CoreCivic and The GEO Group, Citizens Bank is deepening its financial support for these companies, which are already holding more than half of the immigrants currently in ICE detention across the country.
Even as it publicly touts its commitment to “strengthening our communities,” Citizens Bank has played a key role in helping GEO and CoreCivic access more than $2.5 billion in financing, some of it approved earlier this year. ICM, which was created by #Palantir, 'integrates a vast ecosystem of public and private data to track down immigrants and, in many cases, deport them.' The data includes 'a person’s immigration history, family relationships, personal connections, addresses, phone records, biometric traits, and other information.' Through Palantir, AWS receives millions of dollars annually from the federal government to host ICM. Last April, the Trump administration awarded Palantir a new $30 million contract to create '#ImmigrationOS,' which is 'a new tool to provide [ICE] with enhanced capabilities to support deportation efforts.' ImmigrationOS is likely hosted on AWS, which has a strategic partnership with Palantir."

When are banks (and other businesses) going to realize that sending emails out like these, with "log in" buttons in the middle of them directly contradicts the most fundamental instruction for avoiding phishing attacks: never click links or buttons in email messages.
Why do the security officers at these organizations not ban emails like this? Nobody should be sending emails like this to their customers. Least of all banks.
