#Tirzepatide ad in the theater: one of the possible side effects listed as "inflamed pancreas." That feels like a scummy way to avoid saying #pancreatitis. It's no fun. But it's a rare side-effect at least. I'm on #dulaglutide which also has that as a rare side-effect. But I had already developed #ChronicPancreatitis at that point, so, kinda water under the bridge for me at least.

Happy belated birthday to me. This time, it is not #pancreatitis, but #appendicitis. Yay. I go in for surgery at some point tomorrow to remove it. I wonder if this is related to my #ChronicPancreatitis #ChronicIllness or if it is just a bonus to start the new year. #FortWorth #healthcare.

Maybe due to #semaglutide med #trulicity, which delays gastric emptying? Just a "shot" in the dark, really. The paranoid person in me thinks that the GI doc might be trying to increase billable hours knowing that I've already hit deductible for the year.
