I stopped halfway across the Millennium Bridge and pointed the camera north, which turned out to be the same thing roughly nine thousand other people were doing that afternoon. I looked behind me and there was another group of tourists with their phones raised taking much the same photo I have here. St. Paul's Cathedral was in the background but I was interested in the people, contrasting the ever-present building with the steady stream of humanity flowing past me.

If you ask someone from the UK for the name of an architect there’s a good chance they’ll say Christopher Wren. Best known for St. Paul’s Cathedral, and rebuilding after the 1666 Fire of London, designing over 50 churches.

Taken from London, ed. Charles Knight; Tufts has it in TEI XML but no download link i could find. Hah! I have the physical book to scan!

This is a 180 degree #vertorama of St Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe - a #ChristopherWren church in the city. It's so-called because its first structure was by the Royal Wardrobe - where in 1361 Edward III moved his store for clothes and armour.

That burned down in the Great Fire, Christopher #Wren built the replacement. That was bombed, but restored and reopened in 1961.

    I used a DIY 360 degree panorama mount on a tripod to hold an #Olympus EM1iii with a Laowa 7.5mm F2.
