J'ai proposé à une amie de monter des activités pour une option #CHAMS (horaires aménagés pour les #maths et les #sciences). Mais je me rend compte que je manque un peu de matos. Il faudra se mettre d'accord avec le prof responsable mais est-ce que vous avez des idées ou des retours d'expériences pour des activités de long cours niveau 4em?
J'ai pensé faire un truc sur l'étude des ondes comme nous avons un fab lab. Avec une bassine je pensais leur faire usiner des planches à mettre dans une bassine d'eau pour leur montrer la diffraction, la création de sources secondaires, faire des ondes stationnaires etc. Et pour ça je pensais leur faire usiner un petit bras robot avec un arduino et deux servo moteurs au fablab et le programmer pour faire des perturbations régulières dans l'eau, ainsi que leur montrer comment faire un petit site internet pour mettre en ligne leur projet.
Ça semble faisable niveau 4em? J'ai peur que ça soit léger. Bon je pense aussi essayer d'organiser une visite d'instruments un peu sexy et demander à des collègues femmes de venir parler de leur parcours et illustrer ce qu'elles font (les classes sont forcément mixtes à 50%, ça fait partie des objectifs). Mais est-ce qu'on meuble une année avec ça? Un autre groupe va faire une compétition de drone et le dernier course en cours (le truc de Dassault avec les petites voitures). Je me sens un peu désemparé dans ce projet...

If you ever get a chance to visit Bhutan, I recommend you plan the trip to align with one or more festivals. Especially if you have time to travel deeper into Central or Eastern Bhutan and visit a very small gonpa or lhakhang that doesn't get attention from tourists. These are special.

The crowd is as fascinating as the chams. I look for those quiet moments when people are just being themselves. I make sure they are aware of what I'm doing, and catch their eye first. I look for a nod or a smile. Then I show them that photo.
They go back to doing their thing, and that's when I get the more candid shots. Them just being themselves without posing.

The music is a huge feature of these festivals too. There's a dedicated team of monks who just do percussion and horns. Then there's the novice monks who inject a little more random cheer into the event :)
