This morning's #CanyonCountry hike: The Citadel ruin. The ruin itself is amazing, very well preserved and out on a point of rock where two canyons converge, the only access via a "land bridge" (second photo). About half of the hike in is over slickrock which is really fun.

I love watching sunrise from the Cedar Mesa rim above them. As early morning shadows of giant stone spires race across the landscape, you can literally see the earth rotating.
