— Cargo Dragon от SpaceX впервые скорректировал орбиту МКС

Грузовой корабль включил свои двигатели на 12 минут и успешно поднял орбиту на 1 км.

До этого долгое время орбиту МКС корректировали с помощью российского модуля Звезда или кораблями Прогресс, но из за пробития в Звезде есть опасения, что дальнейшее приложение ускорения через эту ось станции может расширить трещины. Также SpaceX получила контракт на затопление станции в 2030 году и им нужны данные для разработки. В конце концов, Роскосмос обещает уйти с МКС в 2028 году и эти 2 года только корабли Dragon и Starliner будут иметь возможность корректировать орбиту:
