Freunde sind jetzt der "AI" verfallen.Gerade eben musste ich mir in einem Dialog mit einem Freund nach seinem Brainwashing^W "AI"-Programmierkurs dieses "wer nicht auf den Zug aufspringt, bleibt zurück"-Argument anhören. 🤮
Es fühlt sich kalt und einsam an, der "Last Man Standing" zu sein, der ethische _und_ technische Probleme damit hat.
Was tun?
Und: Wie, bitte, komme ich in ein anderes Paralleluniversum? ICH WILL RAUS!

That really old, aging Asus-P9X79 mainboard with a 2011 socket I dumped on a friend 2 years earlier in favor of a shiny AM5 board? Featuring an ancient i7 and tons of DDR3 RAM, which was hopeless overkill when I got it in late 2011 and hence still was running ok?
Ancient stuff like this is now on the table again for home server applications. No kidding. We're sipping the dregs from more than a decade ago. That's where it's at.

Just in case you've been living under a really big rock lately, but for the rest of us there's some insights into this whole AI-bubble driven shortage mess as well - just saying...
And one notable thing I was thinking through already:
If you cannot aquire the means of production any longer, guess what those wonderful offers in the cloud will do to your freedom. Guess who will end up making lots of money just by gobbling up all the means of production for computing so that you have to buy it from them instead, billed by the minute or power used. Guess!Nah! Don't mention monopolies! The future will be great, just trust the very few big players that will serve us all, ultimately deciding on what computing should cost us or what we're even allowed to do! 🤡
