My site is built with #Pelican, but I'm eyeing a change to @stefano's #BSSG.
My site does technically have a little bit of JS (from the theme), but it totally works without it, and in dillo, chawan, w3m, links, and lynx.
(Heck, you can
curlthe site and manually strip away the HTML/CSS stuff, if you want to. XDOk, I did one, just for crazy grins:
curl -sL rldane.space |sed 's/<[^>]*>//g; s/[[:space:]]*$//' |tr '\n' '🧍' |sed -E 's/🧍{2,}/🧍🧍/g' |tr '🧍' '\n' |less -

Do you like BSSG? Then "we need moooooar SSG"!
Good Read is a twin project that uses the exact same posts and pages.
Even better? It can render everything using BSSG themes!
Just to be clear: it's not replacing BSSG. They will live side-by-side, even in their development.
More dependencies, true, but far more speed. Because #OwnYourData means staying lightning-fast even when you hit 5.000 posts.Current status: It hasn't been officially released yet, and I'm not sure when I'll get around to it, but it's already working great!
I'll be launching a live site with it soon... maybe using it for MyNotes for a while - I can always switch from one to another without breaking anything.
Stay tuned!
