Focus will be on another Manchester United defeat, their invisible midfield (Fernandes is a 10, lack defensive awareness), individual mistakes, the missed penalty, the lack of fight and leadership on-field and off, and persistence with a system that doesn’t suit them. Painful watching them. United deserved to lose. But Brentford should really be taking the headlines.
Brentford deserved to win. They were better organised, showed more fight and took their chances. And you can see the bond between players and Keith Andrews, their belief in him. Can’t have been easy succeeding such a successful, inspirational manager as Thomas Frank but Andrews doing well so far. Brentford promote well. And recruit so well. Thiago £30m (and now fit), Jensen a reported £3.5m in 2019, Damsgaard £16m, Kelleher £12.5m etc. Well-run club 🐝 #BREMUN #MUFC

For the love of all that is holy and good, stop letting Fernandes take penalties. Even I can do better than 1 out of 3 and I'm (effectively) a one-legged (actually) elderly person.

Shambolic play to gift Brentford an early goal but the ref has just given Brentford a free kick for the same foul he denied United in the build-up to the goal.
PGMOL, we are begging you for consistency.
(But even more shambolic play for the second goal - three defenders following the ball–instead of thinking about the flow of play–leaving a huge gap behind them for Thiago to run into. Been pointing this out for YEARS.)
(Also can’t see Amorim making it past Christmas unless he radically changes the way he goes about things.)
