    CW: Linux wifi help needed

    All right. Trying to figure out Linux wifi on my 2013 MacBook Air. Chipset is BCM43224.

    On the #Fedora live CD, wifi is Slow (<1 mbps down). lshw says the driver is #brcmsmac 6.8.5-301 with firmware 610.812.

    On the Pop live CD, wifi is Fast (like 40x faster). According to lshw, firmware and driver is the same BUT the driver is older: 6.8.0-76060800daily20240311-gen.

    Does that explain the difference in speed, and can I downgrade to that version on Fedora?
