This is Pauline Hanson, Australia's very own orange Trump — right down to the hair, the bluster, and the endless victimhood.
When asked about taxpayers forking out $150k+ a year for her daughter Lee Hanson to "campaign full-time in Tasmania" while on the payroll as an adviser to a NSW senator, this was her classy response to the journalist:"Honestly, you never give up. I've never seen a person that's such a trashy journalist... you've got this obsession with constantly trying to pull down myself, my party, or Mrs Rinehart."
Simple question: What does it say about the political IQ of the Australians who keep voting for this?

Turns out younger Australians are cutting back on the booze, while the older age brackets are quietly doubling down. According to the ABC, overall drinking is down but older Australians are taking bigger health risks with alcohol.
You know the type. We’ve lived longer, seen it all, know everything, and are therefore completely confident we can ignore the health advice. Again. After all, if it hasn’t killed us yet, it clearly never will.
