Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to share an issue I believe requires serious attention. Over the past few days, I’ve noticed a significant increase in NSFW accounts on Bluesky, and it’s becoming a growing concern. While people are free to express themselves within the platform’s guidelines, the volume of this type of content is escalating at an alarming rate.

So far, I’ve identified 32 accounts consistently sharing similar NSFW content, and there are likely more that will need to be added to my list. This isn’t just about personal preference; it’s about ensuring Bluesky remains a platform where all users can feel comfortable and safe. Excessive amounts of unmoderated NSFW content can deter users from engaging and potentially harm the community’s overall experience.

I strongly believe Bluesky Moderation needs to address this situation more effectively. However, as part of the community, we can also take steps to help manage the issue. I’ve created a moderation list specifically to track and block these accounts. If you would like to support this effort, you can subscribe to my moderation list and block the accounts included.
