I get why people see the Bible in a Year and the Catechism in a Year podcast are gimmicks. And I also see that they aren't high-level theology either.
But, truthfully, I actually appreciate and enjoy it. It is approaching the content in a different way than I do naturally and guiding me through even the boring parts that I'd rather skip.
