Des fois je suis un peu découragé par comment on se fait avoir au #Canada avec la #télécom. Mon #Samsung #S20 est affiché comme ayant la fonctionnalité d'utiliser des e-sim. **Sauf ceux vendus au Canada.** Après un peu de recherche, j'ai installé le ROM officiel mais pour les États-Unis. Et voilà. La fonctionnalité est maintenant dispo. Le matériel est là, mais le logiciel le bloque. Sûrement pour faire plaisir aux #Big3 qui veulent qu'on paie pour leurs #forfaits de voyage #dispendieux.

Michigan has the most plants joining the UAW’s Detroit Three strike
Week two of the United Auto Workers (UAW) strike started Friday, with 38 new sites being called to join picket lines after another week of negotiations with Detroit Three auto manufacturers Ford, General Motors and Stellantis failed to result in a deal. Of the now 41 locations on strike across 21 states, 14 are in Michigan.

Much of what we see from #Big3 management is performative for shareholders. They know that they have to fix their current sloppy labor models (tiers, temps, etc.) if they want people to keep working for them through the coming massive changes to how cars work and are built. They have as much of a labor “shortage” problem as anyone else and know it. They need to make being a #UAW auto worker attractive again. -

@TheBradBlog’s and @GreenNewsReport’s highly contextual and detailed description in Brad’s explanatory monologue prior to the interview with labor historian Nelson Lichtenstein is incredibly informative and helpful.
