When the orchestra makes the walls of the concert hall reverberate so you feel it in your seat, but then weaves the most spellbinding gossamer web of an ending with strings, you know it’s the #BerlinPhil with Mahler 9 in the Henri Leboeuf Hall at Bozar in #Brussels

I’ve been debating whether to watch the Stage+ concert with Daniel Hope’s Dance, or the #BerlinPhil re-live of Thielemann conducting #Bruckner. Bruckner won… #classicalmusic

#Music has been getting me through a lot this week. It’s been terrific therapy, inspiration and solace. Had chills up my spine with this performance of #Mahler 5 by #BerlinPhil #Dudamel, particularly that wonderful scherzo, which seems to contain the joy, sorrow and horrors of the whole world, conjured by the magisterial horn playing of #StefanDohr

#Messiaen’s “Turangalîla-Symphony” is a completely bonkers work, made even more crazy when you watch the wailing #OndesMartenot up live and close. #SimoneYoung conducts this epic work about love, death, stars, blood, Hindu modes and talas with the #BerlinPhil and #CédricTiberghien. If you don't know it listen to movt. VIII. Développement d’amour 🤯🪷💖⚰️🍌🌊🔊

Having an absolute blast watching
#DigitalConcertHall – #Petrenko / #BerlinPhil in Strauss’s FROSCH. You can tell it's on the back of their staged perfs. Such elan, vigour and power. A treat watching the musicians tackle this brilliant score, everyone's having a ball. The singers are all terrific but oh, Die Amme! Almost steals the show. -
