Another successful camp-in at the #Bengies. Here's me teaching compass tricks to another leader for our #geocaching and #GIS activity.
My first direction (pun intended) to Scouts is "Close your eyes and point North."
The 1st part keeps them from seeing others' guesses; the 2nd is a navigation awareness check.

We have 500 campers going to the #Bengies tomorrow for a Scout camp-in with a double feature and a showing of "A Trip To The Moon" ('Le voyage dans la lune').

All righty then. Over 400 campers signed up for our annual Scout camp-in at the big and beautiful #Bengies drive-in movie theater this weekend (should have ordered more patches, oops).

Quadruple Feature on Saturday and Sunday at #Bengies

@DismalManorGang The #Bengies Drive-in has slated it to run Labor Day weekend, and for our (15th) annual Scout Camp-In the week after. Should be awesome if the weather cooperates.

Correction? On further tests, the PDF export failure with North skewed may still be an issue, caused by the Layout feature. Removing the print layout specs allows for rotated geospatial PDFs, like this one of the #Bengies drive-in, where all directions are relative to "the giant outdoor screen."
Compass rose is missing in this export, though visible in #Qgis console. Oh well.

Shoot, I got the email about the Tuesday throw back night at the #Bengies but didn't make it last night. (We have seen North by Northwest on their awesomely huge screen though).
I think Toy Story 5 run ends tonight.

Back to double features at the #Bengies drivein movie theatre this weekend.

3 day weekend coming up in the U.S. and the #Bengies is set with some great choices for 2 all night shows, and a double feature Friday.
