I posted a comment in the PR I created to update to port https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=294574
I didn’t find how to use this new port version in a jail. Luckily I made a backup of /usr/local/etc/rc.d/adguardhome and I easily restored it to be able to launch the service.
I hesitated to create a new PR for this issue. I posted a comment in the initial PR.
If you know how to deal with this new way (aka security/portacl-rc), please let me know.

On devrait facilement pouvoir partir 2 ou 3 jours sans s'encombrer davantage.Le #BastilleBike remplit sa promesse. (Dé)Pliage rapide avec un peu de pratique. Se porte suffisamment bien pour franchir les escaliers des gares. Juste quelques difficultés à trouver où le caler dans le train car il reste encombrant et pas très stable en position debout. Une fois en balade, ça roule.

Jail app update
The appjail journey ends for now. Spent to much time on various things Promising and easy to initially use. But very difficult to get it running with vnet and accessible jails for the LAN. DHCP works but I cannot set any limits on IP ranges. Config files for jails are on strange locations, no jail.conf to have to all in one place.
So... the journey continues.
I tried Pot, and in no time I got jails running isolated, on my LAN ip range and with selective ports to open.

A flavour is a template that after creating an empty pot, installs the dependencies and sets settings. Configuration before start is done via pot set-env and some parameters. Easy once you get the heck of it.Networking is a relief and well documented:

Example pot based on Freebsd 14.1 on a fixed LAN address:

@BastilleBSD I used #iocage for some years to test updates of a complete #puppet infrastructure before committing the #FreeBSD ports.
I recently starting to switch to #bastille because iocage seems dead 😟. Some cool features make me think I can refactor some code to make it easier to maintain.
It is a long term project and I work on it with each new Puppet release. For now, changes are only in my working directory, but Puppet 8 being released in February, this might change soon 😉.
