As a member of the European Parliament, I expressed my concern that some reports are based more on political stereotypes than on facts and evidence. For example, Point 69 of the Security and Defence reports mentions Serbia's relationship with Russia and its lack of condemnation of Russia's actions against Ukraine. However, Serbia has signed all UN resolutions condemning Russia's attack on Ukraine and has consistently advocated for Ukraine's territorial integrity.
To ensure that our reports are based on facts and consistency, I propose the following:
1. Review all reports to ensure they are free from political stereotypes and biases.
2. Incorporate accurate and up-to-date information about Serbia's stance on Ukraine and its relationship with Russia.
3. Recognize Serbia's commitment to the principles of international law, including territorial integrity.
