Lots of hand-waving in this piece about BA.3.2 and children.
No discussion about the current inability to discriminate between infection frequency and virulence.
One interesting point, though: The first specimen from South Africa was in fact from a 5-year-old boy.

The Netherlands, calendar week 4, ending Jan 26th:
Both sentinel and wastewater show a local minimum.
BA.3.2* was at ca. 50% according to sparse specimen sequencing up to week 2. Despite fast fraction growth, it could not counteract overall epidemiological drivers, so far.

Im #Bezirksausschuss #Maxvorstadt müssen wir den Umbau der #Arnulfpost zu einem neuen Entwicklungszentrum für #Google begutachten. Gestern haben wir den Plänen vorerst zugestimmt - unter der Bedingung, dass #Google zum Kampf gegen #Wohnungsnot in #München beiträgt, die #Parkplätze reduziert und der #BA3 in das Projekt mit einem runden Tisch einbezogen bleibt. #Grüne haben den Antrag vorgeschlagen, nun wurde er fraktionsübergreifend eingebracht und (fast) einstimmig beschlossen.
