I have decided that the reason G'kar was wearing the eyepatch again when he went to Emperor Mulari to free him from the keeper, is because Mulari had secreted G'kar's bionic eye on himself while drunk (so the keeper would not know) and that G'kar would see what must be done.

@jmw @adeese I feel like #TheMagicians did a good job right out of the gate. Also new #BSG which isn't technically a "new property" but also it really is a new property because it's so dissimilar from its source material and intended for audiences who have no knowledge of it.

I think #B5 hits it just fine starting with the first proper episode (as opposed to the pilot movie which is canon but also needs audience participation to rectify with the rest of the series). The characters all feel well-developed to me from the start, but I may just have too much knowledge of the series to be objective about its beginnings. I do think that #Farscape starts with less strength.

I went to check my NAS for other shows and discovered that it turned itself off and won't come up so....I think I'm going into hardware troubleshooting mode now.

Lois Litt from #suits is another

Went from hating his guys, to on par, if not better than leads. All due to the actor.

Ambassador Molare from #B5 is another, perhaps not hate, but clear antagonist, to one of the best and deep characters. Again actor.

So Netflix....at least stream BABYLON 5. All of it. Hey, you could even make some more and have your own SF franchise.

@Professor_Stevens I’ll admit #B5 was a drag at times. Particularly the first season. But it did lay the groundwork for the multi-season arcs we’ve become accustomed to. I was never a frothy B5 fan, and I did feel it got pretty melodramatic at times, but the plotting, politics and intrigue was something new.

A lot of people also seemed to like #Sense8, so I’d definitely want to hear his pitch for #DoctorWho. Though I didn’t manage to complete Sense 8…
