Food and audio-documentary in solidarity with people on the Move

Join us for a @NoNameKitchen solidarity event at @kulturlabor_trial_error in Berlin on Wednesday, 30th of july!

NoNameKitchen is a movement in solidarity with People on the Move in southern and eastern Europe providing basic needs & health care, responding to emergency calls after push backs, advocating for the right to move and the right to stay in safety and monitoring violence at the European borders.

To support NNK's work & spread the word about the situation at the borders we will share selfmade food (KüFa) and stream the audio-documentary “Cause of Death: The border”.

The audio-documentary is in Croatian and the subtitles in English only!

Come by to share food, support NNK and learn and talk more about the deadly policy of the EU on the borders.

Essen und Audio-Dokumentation in Solidarität mit Menschen auf der Flucht

Nehmt am Mittwoch, dem 30. Juli, an einer Solidaritätsveranstaltung von  @NoNameKitchen  im  @kulturlabor_trial_error  in Berlin teil!

NoNameKitchen ist eine Bewegung, die sich solidarisch mit Menschen auf der Flucht in Süd- und Osteuropa zeigt, indem sie Grundbedürfnisse und Gesundheitsversorgung bereitstellt, auf Notrufe nach Zurückweisungen reagiert, sich für das Recht auf Freizügigkeit und das Recht auf einen sicheren Aufenthalt einsetzt und Gewalt an den europäischen Grenzen beobachtet.

Um die Arbeit von NNK zu unterstützen und die Situation an den Grenzen bekannt zu machen, werden wir selbst zubereitetes Essen (KüFa) teilen und die Audio-Dokumentation „Cause of Death: The border” streamen.

Die Audio-Dokumentation ist auf Kroatisch und die Untertitel nur auf Englisch!

Kommt vorbei, um zusammen zu essen, NNK zu unterstützen und mehr über die tödliche Politik der EU an den Grenzen zu erfahren und darüber zu diskutieren.

On Wednesday, 30 July, Gesundheit4Palestine will be at the Wednesday Café to talk about the destruction of the healthcare system in Gaza.

Together we will watch the short film ‘When it stopped being a war: the situated testimony of Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sittah’ (26 min) by Forensic Architecture about the attack on Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City.

Activists from Gesundheit4Palestine will talk about their work and the work of their colleagues in Palestine. Afterwards, there will be time for questions and discussion.

🍽 There will be a vegan dinner available for a donation.

🖼 You can also view the exhibition ‘Gaza Remains The Story,’ which will be displayed on the walls of our café. Come and join us!

Come to the Tiergarten District Court on 30 June at 12 noon for the rally and show your solidarity!

In Germany, advocating for Palestinian life and liberation is treated as a crime.

Yasemin Acar - human rights activist, organizer, and committed community member - is being prosecuted for her solidarity with Palestine.

Yasemin has been subjected to surveillan-ce, house searches, smear campaigns, violent arrests, death threats, and dozens of court proceedings.

This is not an isolated incident, but a systematic one.

The message is clear: Keep quiet or be punished.

Yasemin is just one of many who have been targeted. And she won't be the last.

Therefore: Come to the rally at the Tiergarten District Court on July 30th at 12 p.m. and show your solidarity!

In Deutschland wird das Eintreten für palästinensisches Leben und Befreiung als Verbrechen behandelt.

Yasemin Acar - Menschenrechtsaktivistin, Organisatorin und engagiertes Community Mitglied, wird wegen ihrer Solidarität mit Palästina strafrechtlich verfolgt.

Yasemin wurde Überwachung, Hausdurchsuchungen, Diffamierungskampagnen, gewaltsamen Festnahmen, Morddrohungen und dutzenden Gerichtsverfahren ausgesetzt.

Das ist kein Einzelfall sondern hat System.

Die Botschaft ist eindeutig: Schweigt oder werdet bestraft.

Wir von LaRage SüdBerlin möchten uns euch vorstellen und gemeinsam mit euch über die Relevanz von antifaschistischer Arbeit in Südost-Berlin sprechen. Zusammen wollen wir ein Transpi malen, leckere KüFa (Küche für Alle) genießen und den Abend anschließend gemütlich mit Spielen und Getränken zum Solipreis ausklingen lassen.

The Philippines is home to over 17 million indigenous people who are divided into 110 ethno-linguistic groups.

The Lumad are one of them. Like so many other indigenous populations around the world, the Lumad suffer from politically motivated oppression, displacement and persecution linked to the large natural resource deposits in their settlement areas.

Land grabbing through mining is the biggest threat to Lumad land.

Due to military attacks, extrajudicial killings and the government-ordered closure of Lumad schools in Mindanao, the 'Lumad Bakwit School' was established.

The refugee camp and school in Manila is home to 100 indigenous Lumad children and young people. - This is also the subject of the film project presented.

Bebang and Ai Iyong, from the Lumad Bakwit School, have graduated from high school and are now pursuing their desire to go to university.

Bebang und Ai Iyong, sind aus der Lumad-Bakwit-School und konnten ihren High School Abschluss absolvieren und verfolgen nun den Wunsch, ein Studium zu beginnen.

Mit dem Erlös unserer Veranstaltung wollen wir die Semestergebühren für zwei (oder sogar mehr) Schuljahre für die beiden bezahlen.

Mehr Informationen zu Bebang und Ai Iyong und den langjährigen Filmprojekt mit den Lumad gibt es um 18:30 vor der Küfa

Ab 19 Uhr gibt die Küfa mit Philippinischen Spezialitäten (Vegan)

Die Philippinen sind Heimat von über 17 Millionen indigenen Menschen, die sich auf 110 ethno-linguistische Gruppen verteilen.

Die Lumad sind eine davon. Wie so viele andere indigene Bevölkerungsgruppen auf der Welt leiden die Lumad unter politisch motivierter Unterdrückung, Vertreibung und Verfolgung, die mit dem großen Rohstoffvorkommen in ihren Siedlungsgebieten in Zusammenhang stehen.

Landgrabbing durch Bergbau ist die größte Bedrohung für das Land der Lumad.

Wegen militärischer Angriffe, außergerichtlichen Tötungen und der staatlich angeordneten Schließung von Lumad-Schulen in Mindanao, wurde die ‘Lumad Bakwit School’ errichtet.

Das Geflüchtetenlager und Schule in Manila beherbergt 100 indigene Lumad-Kinder und Jugendliche. - Mit dieser befasst sich auch das Vorgestellte Filmprojekt.
