That was a doozy.
Steering box arrived, and I installed it, as well as did a fluid flush and had to fiddle with too much other stuff. Everything is torqued to spec, though I'm sure I could've done better on the pitman arm.
The steering shaft did seem to not want to slide on all the way; if anyone has any tips for that (97 ram 1500 5.9l v8 2wd) I'll try them, otherwise I'll just call a mobile mechanic in the morning and make it their problem. I'll just drive slow with my hazards on for the time being.
